Pad Mounted Transformer is an oil-filled step down transformer hermetically sealed with gas cushion designed to position on a concrete pad and specifically designed for servicing underground distribution loads commonly used in residential and commercial areas to provide power lighting, appliances and other electrical equipment's. It features built-in fuses as well as switches. it is available in both live front and dead front construction, for radial and loop feed applications, with or without taps. The transformer uses aluminum or copper winding and is optimized to maximize efficiency and footprint. It has many advantages such as compact, light weight, low loss, ease of maintenance, cost effective, enhanced in aesthetics and safety, environmentally safe etc. Designed and tested in accordance with industry standards including IEEE, IEC, ANSI, DOE, NEMA and CSA as applicable.
